The conference will take place on Wednesday 29th of May in the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar from 9.30am to 4pm.

The Westmeath Renewable Energy conference will provide information and best practice models on various types of renewable energy.

It will focus on energy saving opportunities for farmers, business owners and communities groups together.


The conference was addressed by local and visiting experts, keynote speakers include:

  • Noel Gavigan (Bioenergy)
  • Pat Smith (Solar PV & Micro Energy)
  • Ruth Buggie / Gillian Gannon (SEAI SECs)
  • Brian Collentine (ORS Director & Energy Consultant)


All Farmers, Business Owners and Community Groups based in Co Westmeath are invited to attend the conference to hear directly from the renewable energy developers and learn about the innovative renewable energy projects being implemented across Ireland.

The Westmeath Renewable Energy Event is free of charge and lunch will be provided on the day.
