Local Groups Urged to Register Defibrillators to Help Save Lives
Community groups across are being encouraged to register their Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to help ensure they can be located quickly in an emergency.
An AED can save a life during a cardiac arrest, but its impact depends on people knowing where it is. By registering AEDs on the national database, emergency services and bystanders can be directed to the nearest device when every second counts.
PPN is calling on all community organisations, sports clubs, and local groups to take a few minutes to register their AEDs and help make their communities more emergency-ready.
Registration is simple, quick, and could make a life-saving difference.
