There is currently a vacancy for a WPPN Secretariat position representing the WPPN’s Environmental Pillar*
- The Secretariat is elected by the membership at the Plenary and is responsible for overseeing the budget and smooth running of the WPPN in accordance with the WPPN Constitution and Annual Work Plan.
- The Secretariat meet approximately 12 times per annum. They oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation by the two WPPN staff and approve all new group admissions to the WPPN. These meetings are currently hybrid meetings which can be attended online or in person.
- Term of office of Secretariat is 5 years in line with local authority policy.
The closing date for receipt of nominations is 5pm 13th October 2025.

*Environmental Pillar Reps can be only be nominated by their WPPN Groups who are part of the Environmental pillar. Alternatively they can be nominated by the Environment Climate Action Rural Water and Emergency Linkage Group.
